MEET THE DIRECTOR

Stefan Olivier was born and raised in the heart of the Vaal Triangle in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng.

He started his career as an entrepreneur at an early age and followed a 3-year part time course in Entrepreneurship at North-West University.

In 2002 he qualified as a Financial Accountant through North-West University in Potchefstroom and completed his articles in 2005. In 2006 he was accepted by the Accounting Board of South Africa.

Stefan qualified as a Financial Planner in 2002, specifically focussing on structuring and development of businesses. He also specialised further in Taxation in his honours year.

In 2006 he started his own practice and has been running a very successful Accounting / Auditing / Taxation firm since then.

In 2015 Stefan launched a financial radio show called “Financial Review Tuesday” on the local radio station 90.6 FM (VCR), which he co-hosted with Erik du Preez. They broadcast their final show, after successfully casting over 200 weekly episodes on air.

In 2015 Stefan completed his studies in Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment Management through WITS University SA, focussing on the role of B-BBEE in South Africa.

Since 2016 he did several after studies on the effect of Autism in South Africa, as well as the conditions of Import / Export Taxes worldwide.

In February 2015 Stefan was appointed as the Vice-Chairperson of the Business Chamber in Vanderbijlpark. A year later he was appointed as the Chairperson of this local Chamber. He has collaborated the Vaal Triangle as a Mega Business Chamber and served as President of the Golden Triangle Chamber of Commerce until February 2020. He is currently still active as Vice-President of this identity.

In 2017 he was co-opted as part of the AHI in Gauteng. In 2019 he was nominated and selected as Vice-President of the new identity, SBI (Previously AHI) in Gauteng.
